Shown above is a living room grouping including a Morris chair, love seat, two ottomans, two lamps, and a rolling one-legged adjustable table with tilt top. Each piece is built to the specific needs and desires of the users. The size, choice of wood, construction details and finish are discussed and agreed upon between my clients and me before any work is begun.

Each project is the culmination of cooperative discussions between clients and me. We start with their idea, needs and desires. I gather their information (function, sizes, color, texture, etc,) add my ideas, and make a rough sketch. After some incubation and discussion we arrive at a scale drawing that shows several views. Then a change here, a deletion there, and we have a plan that serves the limits of my ability and the clients desires for a special piece of furniture that might someday become a family heirloom.

I live and work on the Central Coast of California. I try to serve clients in Northern California, but I have delivered as far as Olympia, WA. By dealing directly with clients I can offer substantially lower prices than if they were sold in a gallery.
